About Mattie
My name is Mattie Stivers, and the well-being of animals is more than just my profession—it's my lifelong passion. As the honored owner of six dogs and a saddlebred mare, I understand the deep bond you share with your canine and equine companions. I, too, have the desire to see them healthy and happy, which fuels my professional commitment to providing exceptional care. My personal connection drove me to found the first sole, calibrated canine myopusle therapy business, dedicated to optimal canine health and comfort. Whether that be for preventative maintenance, post-operative recovery, or performance enhancement, I wholeheartedly believe that every dog deserves to live pain-free and be offered a form of maintenance therapy.
My journey began with seven years of hands-on veterinary technical experience, encompassing a wide range of procedures from routine exams to complex surgeries. Notably, I spent 18 months as a Veterinary Orthopedic Surgery Technician at a leading Southern Oregon specialty hospital, working diligently with a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. This experience provided invaluable expertise in orthopedic and soft tissue procedures, post-operative care, as well as wound management.
Recognizing the critical need for more specialized wound care and post-operative recovery, particularly in accelerating healing and reducing complications, I am currently pursuing my Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) degree. This advanced training will further enhance my ability to provide exceptional care, including the potential to assist your primary veterinary office as needed. In addition, I have a commitment to serving the community with a therapy solution that is supported by numerous case studies. My aim is to be a dedicated intermediary, bringing the benefits of a high-end, equine-based therapy to our canine companions. I have a desire to share the incredible results and therapeutic benefits behind the biofeedback system and its counterparts. Check out the Technical Information page for more.
Following my extensive veterinary experience, I pursued and completed rigorous training in Expanded Function Dental Assisting, subsequently working in a demanding clinical dental environment. This experience honed my precision, attention to detail, and adherence to strict medical protocols—skills directly transferable to the high standards of care I provide in animal Acuscope and Myopulse therapy. While this period expanded my professional skill set, my devotion to animal well-being remains my ultimate calling.
This dedication has led me to Acuscope and Myopulse therapy, a non-invasive approach to pain management, injury recovery, and overall wellness for dogs and other small animals. By combining my extensive veterinary technical experience, specialized orthopedic knowledge, and commitment to advanced wound care, I offer a unique and comprehensive approach to animal healing in Southern Oregon.
For all they give, and the unspoken discomfort they endure, offer them the advanced, gentle relief of canine myopulse therapy.
